How to Read Our La Liga Predictions

Every La Liga match card shows two sets of numbers next to each other. Model is the probability calculated by the Sportmonks prediction model, the data provider behind our predictions. Market is the probability implied by the bookmaker odds we track for that fixture. When the two are close, the market and the model broadly agree. When they drift apart, it is worth opening the match and seeing why.

Under the badges you will find the 1X2 split: the chance of a home win (1), a draw (X) and an away win (2). The Pick is simply the outcome the model rates as most likely. It is not a guarantee and it is not a staking suggestion. A pick at 39% means the model still expects the other two outcomes to happen more often combined.

Predictions are refreshed once a day. During the day only the odds and the market estimate move, so if you come back in the evening you may see a different Market figure next to the same Model figure. All kick-off times are shown in UTC.

La Liga Betting Markets: 1X2, BTTS and Over/Under 2.5

We cover three markets for La Liga matches, and only these three.

1X2 (match result). Home win, draw or away win, each with its own probability. Spanish league matches often look close on paper, so read all three percentages rather than only the pick.

Both teams to score (BTTS). The chance that both sides find the net. A high Yes figure points to an open game; a high No figure suggests at least one clean sheet is likely.

Over/Under 2.5 goals. The chance of three or more goals in the match, or two or fewer. It tells you about the expected tempo of the game regardless of who wins.

BTTS and Over/Under 2.5 predictions are not available for every fixture. Use the tabs above the list (All Picks, 1X2, BTTS, Over 2.5) to see which matches have a prediction for each market.

About La Liga

La Liga is Spain's top football division. Twenty teams play a 38-matchday season, meeting every other team once at home and once away.

For La Liga predictions that structure means a long run of comparable fixtures: every club faces the same opponents in both venues over the season. Our Spanish league predictions follow that schedule match by match, with the same three markets on every card where the provider publishes them.

Prefer quick La Liga picks or La Liga tips? The Pick on each card is the short version of every Spain league prediction, and the full probabilities sit right next to it. Our Spain La Liga predictions (LaLiga predictions, if you search it as one word) use exactly the same layout as the other competition pages.

La Liga Predictions: FAQ

How are La Liga predictions made?

The probabilities come from the Sportmonks prediction model. Next to them we show the market estimate implied by bookmaker odds, so you can compare the model's view with the market's for every La Liga fixture.

Which markets do you cover for La Liga matches?

1X2 (match result), both teams to score and Over/Under 2.5 goals. BTTS and Over/Under 2.5 predictions are not available for every match.

How often are La Liga predictions updated?

Once a day. During the day the odds and the market estimate keep moving, while the model prediction stays the same until the next daily update.

What do the Market and Model percentages mean?

Model is the probability from the Sportmonks model. Market is the probability implied by the bookmaker odds we track. The difference between them shows where the model and the market disagree.

What time zone are La Liga kick-off times shown in?

UTC. Convert to your local time before you plan around a kick-off.

Why is there no prediction for some La Liga matches yet?

A prediction appears once the provider publishes it for the fixture.
